Although I am not a big fast food eater and have stopped at Kentucky Fried Chicken probably five times in the last ten years, I think this commercial is great. The KFC brand has always had a comfortable "home" feeling and this new series of commercials is trying to instill the same values the brand stands for but in a new way. The commercial begins with a bunch of different people (of different demographics) saying how the chicken is "so good." Then a calm voice reinforces the theme that the chicken is "so good," and it ends with KFC again reminding people their chicken is "so good" with a song. I think the song at the end of the commercial fits their brand well because it is a simple and somewhat soothing melody. I think KFC did a good job with this commercial because more restaurants are trying to have a somewhat healthy appeal. I think KFC achieved that with this commercial simply by telling consumers they have quality chicken.
